Cookie Policy

This policy applies to novabid.co.uk and forms part of our Privacy Policy. It explains the small set of cookies and similar technologies we use, and the one category that only ever runs with your consent.
1. Strictly necessary cookies (always on, no consent needed)
Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in, keep your session secure, and remember your language choice. The platform cannot work without them. They are first-party, and most expire when your session ends.
2. Privacy-first analytics (no cookies)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites or build a profile; under PECR no consent is required. We see aggregate numbers only.
3. Advertising measurement, only with your consent
If we run recruitment campaigns for hotels or business customers on LinkedIn, we may use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure whether those campaigns work. This is a third-party tag that can set cookies and share limited data (URL, IP address, device properties) with LinkedIn. It only runs if you consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time using the button below. If you do nothing, or decline, the tag never loads.
4. What we do not do
No advertising cookies without consent, no cross-site tracking, no sale of data, no third-party ad networks on the platform.
5. Managing cookies
You can change your consent choice at any time with the button below. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop login from working.
