Is NovaBid compliant with our firm's expense policy?
After payment you receive a booking confirmation and a separate receipt with the hotel, dates, total paid and payment reference. The receipt is not a full VAT invoice. Ask the hotel if your finance team needs an accommodation VAT invoice. You always see the hotel name before paying, so it works under booking policies that require named-property approval.
Why is this better than our existing TMC?
Travel management companies usually charge the client a management or per-booking fee, and most are built for firms large enough to run a travel programme. NovaBid charges your firm nothing: our commission sits on the hotel side, deducted from what the hotel receives. What you pay is the offer the hotel makes for your trip.
Can we use this for board offsites or multi-night strategy meetings?
Yes. Trip requests support meeting rooms, breakfast and multiple guests. For larger offsites, tell us the room count and meeting requirement in the brief and it goes to the independent hotels on the platform that can host it.
How does NovaBid handle Edinburgh's financial calendar peaks?

What about data privacy and our compliance team?
