NovaBid works with Mews
If your hotel runs on Mews, a booking made through NovaBid is created in your Mews for you. Your front desk sees it where it already works, with nothing to key in.
What lands in your Mews
You still reply to each trip with your own private offer. What changes is what happens after the business books.
One reservation per room
Each room in the booking becomes its own reservation in your Mews, under the guest’s name, at the nightly price in the offer the business accepted.
A note for the front desk
Every reservation carries a note saying the stay was booked through NovaBid, so the team takes a card for extras as normal.
Cancellations follow
If the business cancels through NovaBid, the reservation is cancelled in your Mews too. Nobody has to remember to do it.
On Mews Payments
If you take payment through Mews, the reservation is held as Optional while the business pays the Mews payment link. It is confirmed once paid, and released if it is not.
Questions hotels ask
Does NovaBid work with Mews?
Yes. When a business books your offer on NovaBid, the reservation is created in your Mews for you, one per room, with a note for the front desk. A cancellation made through NovaBid is cancelled in Mews too.
Do I need to install anything?
No. NovaBid connects to Mews directly. You confirm to Mews that you want NovaBid connected, and we match the room type and rate your NovaBid bookings use. Your team keeps working in Mews as it does today.
Does the connection cost extra?
Not from NovaBid. What a hotel pays NovaBid is commission on a paid booking and nothing else; it is all on one page, at novabid.co.uk/partners/what-you-pay.
My hotel is not on Mews. Can I still use NovaBid?
Yes. A booking arrives by email in a format the front desk can key into any reservation system in under a minute, with a line for each room. Other systems will be listed here when the connection works, not before.
