Does it cost anything to post a trip request on NovaBid?

No. Posting, comparing and declining offers is free for the business, with no subscription and no booking fee. The hotel pays NovaBid a commission only on a paid booking: 10% for founding partners, 12% standard.

Do I need an account to post a trip?

You fill in the trip first with no account and no card. Who you are is only asked when the request is ready to send, so hotels know who they are answering.

What happens after I post?

Before 12 October 2026 requests are held and arranged personally by the founder. From 12 October independent Edinburgh hotels are notified and reply with private offers, each with the total price and inclusions. You compare them, pick one and pay once for the party by card or Pay by Bank through Stripe. The hotel is paid at booking and you receive one confirmation with the receipt.

What if my plans change?

Terms are shown before you pay. A cancellation more than 48 hours before check-in is refunded in full; inside 48 hours there is no refund, because the hotel has held the rooms.
